TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO

The challenges are too big to solve alone. We believe we are more powerful together than we could ever be on our own.

PHIN HAS OVER A DECADE LONG HISTORY OF SUPPORTING AND INNOVATING HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT IN THE PACIFIC.

WE BELIEVE NEW APPROACHES, PARTNERSHIPS AND TECHNOLOGIES CAN MAKE UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE A REALITY

The Pacific Health Information Network  (PHIN) is a regional partner network promoting the use of information and technology to accelerate universal health coverage. Our work in health information and digital health strengthening span the entire Pacific region. Our goal is to leverage the use of data, enabling technologies, cross disciplinary collaboration and people-centered approaches for sustainable change in health service delivery and evidence-based planning.

PHIN was founded in 2006 in Noumea, New Caledonia. Our non-profit organization was established to generate opportunities and support its member states to strengthen the region’s digital health and health information systems initiatives. We are doing this by addressing shared challenges through regional collaboration, common standards, practices and information sharing.

PHIN believes that shared problems can be tackled with shared solutions through partnership efforts with countries, technical agencies, academic institutions, private sector and other regional networks. PHIN is helping drive change through advocacy, coordination and knowledge sharing.

Membership is free for individuals and institutions.
